Pears & Zibibbo wine - Whitemascarpone Easy



So you think that pastry is difficult, is long, is complicated... Then why don't you try the new Whitemascarpone show: the Whitemascarpone Easy!

Short video-recipes with easy stuff to make at home, always with some nice and famous Italian ingredients.


This time we decided to cook some pears and dress them with a super tasty zibibbo wine, so that we got a delicious sauce out of it.

So, it's time to get back in the kitchen and try it out!

For this recipe you need:
Some pears (1 person = 1 pear)
Some sugar (1 person = 1/2 cup)
Some zibibbo wine (1 person = 1 glass)
Some cinnamon

  • Peel the pear and cut it in 4 pieces
  • Put the zibibbo wine in a pot, then add the sugar
  • Start the flame and let the sugar melt
  • Put the pieces of the pear in the zibibbo syrup and make them soft (approx 10 min.)
  • Add some cinnamon, if you want
  • Once that the pear is ready, take the pieces out of the syrup and put them on a plate
  • Let the syrup on the flame till it becomes thick enough to be served, warm, on top of the pear
